I always clean up in between each card because a dirty craft table makes me anxious. However, this time I was so frustrated that I didn't clean up. So, during my video I had things falling into my screen and I would have to stop filming and start over. I had things falling off of my table. The neighborhood dogs were all barking. Oh man. It was a treat.
At long last, I finally got my video uploaded onto the computer and I was editing it...only to have my computer shut down halfway through the editing process! Thankfully, I was able to recover the file.
So, now that you've heard my sob story, let's get on to the card!
I used a fabulous Mama Elephant stamp set called "Believe in Magic." I ordered this stamp set a couple weeks ago and I'm finally giving it a workout! The card base is Neenah 110lb paper and the patterned papers are from a Recollections paper pad called The Ballet. I looked everywhere online for a place to buy this paper, and I can't find it :( However, there are many paper pads with gold foil papers. Any paper pad will work!
Anyway, (!!) I stamped and embossed the snow globe with the tree inside and some snowflakes falling around the tree. The stamp set comes with 3 different bases for the globe and I chose the solid base with a snowflake peeking through. So super cute!
The stamp set has a few sentiments so you can build your own saying. I chose to stamp and emboss "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." I think it's only fitting since my husband was making fun of me for singing this song the other day...even though it's only September!
I finished off the card with some Doodlebug sequins adhered with Glossy Accents. I played around with adding some gold or red sequins, but in the end, using just the white ones looked best.
All right, ready for the video!? Here it is:
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I promise it won't be long before I have another video! See you next time!
